Italian soundscapes blending jazz, pop and world music

Carolina Bubbico is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and conductor. Her live performances combine danceable grooves, intimate songs, world music timbres and acoustic and electronic elements.

The Italian musician has released three albums to date. Her fourth album, ‘Vocàlia’, was released in April 2026 on the GroundUP Music label. The work is conceived as a multilingual, choral ‘vocal orchestra’. It uses the human voice as its primary instrument to create complex soundscapes and rhythmic structures. The album was largely inspired by Bubbico’s experience of becoming a mother. It blends influences from world music, jazz and Brazilian music.

In addition to her work as a recording artist, Bubbico develops orchestral projects and commissioned works, including the symphonic project “Pangea”. As an arranger and conductor, she has been involved in several editions of the Sanremo Festival. She also works as a music transcriber and teaches pop singing at the “Tito Schipa” Conservatoire in Lecce.
