Das Quintett „Karls Garage“ in klassischer Besetzung ist die Hausband des Jazzclubs im KAW. Die befreundeten Musiker*innen spielen „entspannten SportJazz“. Dahinter stehen die Spielfreude und die Entdeckungslust, aus den vielfältigen musikalischen Interessen der Band ein gemeinsames Ereignis zu formen. Standards aus Bebop, Hard Bop, Cool Jazz und Fusion gehören zum Repertoire.
