“4 Wheel Drive” brings together four internationally renowned European jazz musicians: Nils Landgren, Michael Wollny, Lars Danielsson and Wolfgang Haffner. Their arrangements combine melodic jazz, atmospheric ballads and dynamic improvisations, with the interplay between individual musicianship and a cohesive ensemble sound at the centre.
Darius Blair Quartet
“Darius Blair Quartet”. Led by Frankfurt-based saxophonist Darius Blair, the band mainly performs original compositions spanning post-bop, hard bop and modern jazz. Their music combines dynamic and tranquil passages with influences from the New York jazz scene, gospel and classical music.
